Last year, leaders across government and industry were invited to participate in the development of the South Australian Government’s new ICT Strategy and there was a significant response to the invitation. The outcome from the response is ‘SA Connected’ – a position paper on the Government’s new ICT Strategy that will be launched by the Premier of South Australia, the Hon Jay Weatherill at this major event hosted by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and supported by the SA Government CIO.
Supporting the Premier will be the Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Mr Jim Hallion. Together they will collectively outline the strategic priorities of the government that have led to this key ICT strategy development.
Attending the forum will be numerous government officials (executives and CIOs) representing many government agencies and leaders in the broader ICT industry.
The event will not only provide a unique executive networking opportunity for government and the ICT Industry but will also involve a facilitated workshop where by government and industry will collaborate to address key issues raised in SA Connected to further develop the strategy.
