Commencing July 2018, the AIIA in Victoria will host a monthly ‘Public Sector Tribe’ lunch and networking event on the third Thursday of each month.
This series of events is focussed on building a committed community across the tech industry and government, recognising strengths in building networks and holding regular discussions to address many of the issues facing our industry.
Central to these monthly tribe events will be presentations from government executives on their charters and challenges, commencing with the July 19th event which will feature Ryan Batchelor, Executive Director, Public Sector Governance and Reform, and Information and Data Reform, Department of Premier & Cabinet and Liz Williams, Deputy Electoral Commissioner, Victorian Electoral Commission
Within a theme of Government administration, Ryan will talk to us about the Victorian government’s Public Sector Reform program and focus over the next 12 months. Liz will provide a perspective on the machinery of government in the lead up to and during an election period.
The AIIA is excited to provide our community with the opportunity to access these insights into government machinations as we get closer to the Victorian state election.
