The AIIA Victoria Council invites you to attend the Public Sector & ICT Industry Tribe lunch and networking event to be held on Thursday 18 July 2019.

The Public Sector & ICT Tribe series has been expanded for 2019 in order to explore both public sector and ICT industry opportunities. This event series will now focus on building a committed community across both the tech industry and government, recognising strengths in building networks and addressing the many issues facing our industry.

The event will feature presentations from Kathy Coultas, Director, Strategic Technology Partnerships at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions and Stuart Bland, Senior Manager ICT Tech / Trade at Global Victoria.

Kathy will present on technology partnerships being pursued by the Victorian Government including opportunities presented through the annual Digital Innovation Festival from 23 August to 6 September.

Stuart will discuss the range of planned inbound and outbound trade missions, including the Dubai World Expo 2020, and opportunities to involve Victorian ICT businesses.

Stuart Bland is a member of Global Victoria, an agency responsible for engaging Victorian businesses through a wide range of programs and activities that assist expansion into international markets. Over the last ten years, Stuart has worked with industry to develop export capability and assist Victorian businesses engage internationally.

Prior to taking on his current role, Stuart has worked in China both as a business consultant and for the Australian Trade Commission supporting Australian organisations to generate export business.

Stuart has also worked in International Trade for both the ANZ Bank and for the Bank of Ireland in Dublin.

Stuart has a Bachelor of Economics Degree, and Honours in Asian Studies (Chinese) from LaTrobe University.

Kathy Coultas

Director, Strategic Technology Partnerships,

Kathy Coultas is Director, Strategic Technology Partnerships within the Victoria Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions. As her title suggests, Kathy leads a team responsible for bringing a strategic approach to building innovation and technology partnerships, capability and investment in Victoria. Kathy is responsible for creating and delivering the Digital Innovation Festival.
