Tuesday, 23 October & Thursday, 25 October

The AIIA Victoria Council is pleased to announce that we’re having two Ministerial Policy Platform series events this month.

That means ONE Ministerial Policy Platform series event will be held on Tuesday, 23 October featuring David Southwick MP, Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, Innovation and Renewables and ANOTHER event will be held Thursday, 25 October featuring The Hon. Philip Dalidakis MP, Minister for Trade & Investment, Innovation & the Digital Economy, Small Business.

With a limited number of spaces per event, we encourage you to book your tickets early to avoid missing out.

For October only we will be offering 10% off the ticket price if you buy a bundled ticket to give you access to both events.

The Hon. Philip Dalidakis MP
Minister for Innovation and the Digital Economy

Philip Dalidakis is Victoria’s Minister for Innovation and the Digital Economy, Investment and Trade and Small Business in the Andrews Labor Government. He was elected as the member for Southern Metropolitan in November 2014 and was appointed to Cabinet in July 2015.

Philip has a bold vision of Victoria as the number one tech and startup destination in the Asia Pacific region and, since his appointment to Cabinet, has worked tirelessly to strengthen Victoria’s global reputation as Australia’s top tech city.

Across the Ministry, Philip has overseen the implementation of LaunchVic, which has been tasked to lead the development of Victoria’s globally-connected startup ecosystem and the transformation of the historic Goods Shed North into a leading innovation hub. Coinciding with his role as Minister for Trade and Investment, Philip has been instrumental in supporting leading global startups and tech companies to establish a presence in Victoria.

Philip has a Master of Commerce from UNSW as well as a double degree in Arts (Politics and Thai Language) and Business (Management) from Monash University. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
