Digital Innovation
Australia’s innovation scene has been building momentum in recent years and is not nearly at its peak. Through innovation centres, collaborative spaces and government funds and programs, businesses are embracing innovation like never before.
The Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland initiative was announced in 2015. It focuses on how innovation can drive economic growth and the jobs of the future in existing industries and emerging sectors.
Paul Martyn will reflect on Advance Queensland and how it can assist Brisbane’s business and ICT community as well as encourage innovation in industry.
John Kat will provide an overview of UK Trade & Investment and how UKTI can help companies navigate the UK market. John will provide insights into the UK tech ecosystem, provide a broad look at the Innovate UK agency and highlight opportunities for Australian SMEs to work with the UK Government including through initiatives like the G-Cloud network.
Jock Fairweather will examine Brisbane’s start-up ecosystem and the opportunities and support that exists to enable tech start-ups to catapult onto the global stage.
Join us for this great networking event, being held at one of Brisbane’s newest co-working spaces!
