This unique facilitated event will draw on the experience and expertise of the private sector, research organisations, NSW Government Agencies and the ICT industry, to provide practical advice to Government on strategies, approaches, programs, technologies and tools to achieve their ‘Open Government’ objective.
We will explore areas such as:
- What are the most effective mechanisms to drive Open Government outcomes?
- What ‘content’ is best suited to Open Government approaches
- How are customers/citizens engaged? Are segmented approaches required? Are some approaches more effective with particular customer/citizen cohorts?
- How is customer/citizen relevancy of approach gauged?
- What are the issues that need to be managed?
- How does government practically implement open government to deliver greater transparency and accountability within and across government?

The first part of the session is open to all AIIA invitees. The facilitated workshop will be limited to one representative per company – the nominated representative should be a subject matter expert in Open Government initiatives/approaches.
