AIIA eHealth Briefing- LHD Update from the Chief’s
Details
Last year Zoran Bolevich presented some NSW Health statistics to us, such as:
On a typical day, up to 7,000 users concurrently access the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, opening more than 246,000 patient records
Our State-wide Service Desk (SWSD) receives over 500,000 calls per year and handles over 800,000 requests for support and information (with 60% resolved at the first point of contact)
Our speakers will bring us up to date with how they are managing all of this data, what their pain points are and what are the projects that are going well and maybe those that are not to plan.
The presenters will join our equally prominent MC, Dr Tim Smyth for a Q&A panel where you will be able to ask your questions not covered in the presentations or questions you have been wanting to ask, but haven’t yet had the opportunity.
We look forward to you joining us for this informative briefing, which will be followed by catered networking.

- Cheryl McCullagh, Director of Clinical Integration, The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
