AIIA Digital Disruption – Improving Customer Engagement

Wednesday, 20 May 2015

The RACV Club, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 Australia

Details

Retail industry marketing executives, regardless of how well-equipped, are aware of the customer revolution currently transforming the retail sector.

The collision of the virtual and physical worlds is fundamentally changing consumers’ purchasing behaviours. Consumers are seeking an integrated Customer Experience (CX) across all channels and expect retailers to deliver this experience. Failure to deliver puts retailers at risk of being replaced by competitors delivering a better experience.

Traditional retailers must find opportunities to seamlessly embed the digital world into their strategy by developing in-store and online technologies that allow them to create and maintain meaningful and sincere connections with customers across all channels.

The immediate imperative for many retailers is what to do next and how to learn from the leaders.

The Australian Marketing Institute and AIIA have partnered to develop an exceptional Retail CX forum which addresses these issues.

This exciting ICT and Retail industry event will feature a keynote presentation from Tara Lordsmith, Group General Manager, Myer.

Tara will be joined for an interactive panel session, featuring a number of key industry leaders.

Speakers:

  • Tara Lordsmith – Group General Manager, Myer

  • Margot Spalding – Co-founder, Owner & Director, Jimmy Possum Group
