If you are truly curious about how technology gives us the capability to think beyond what is currently possible – then the AIIA Tech Showcase is the place for you this coming August.
Explore how the impact of robotics and 3D printing are fueling innovations and changing how we do things better. It’s not just multi-nationals who are breaking new ground with innovations – but universities and students as well as start-ups.

Hills YIA Pitchfest

Witness this lively, interesting ‘Pitchfest’ as under 25s clearly articulate the relevance and magnitude of how their innovation makes a difference. Be there as they battle it out to win the accolade of National Hills Young Innovator of the Year – collecting $15,000 of prize money. Our workshop panelists are true experts when it comes to turning an innovation into a commercial success. Content has been crafted to include four fundamentals for start-up success. It is relevant to start-ups as well as larger organisations who are working on new innovations. It also covers key relationships that need to be developed with legal partners and other key suppliers.

The nominees and guests enjoy pre-dinner drinks before the Gala Dinner. This year, the presentation of the iAwards to the winners and merit recipients will be held in conjunction with the Gala Dinner on Thursday 27 August. The event includes the Development, Industry, Service, Society and Student domains, and the Start-Up and Hills Young Innovator category winners. The evening will also provide great food, entertainment and a celebration of ICT innovation.
