Shaping the Future of SA and iAwards
“We need to act boldly and with an increased urgency so that we can address the big challenges that are facing the State’s economy,” urged state Economic Development Board Chair, Mr Raymond Spencer, when announcing a renewal of South Australia’s economic agenda on 19 May 2014.
Further, with the South Australian budget to be handed down on 19 June and declining state revenues, attention is not only focused on “all of economy” issues but equally on driving productivity within and across government itself where inventiveness and doing things differently are no longer an option but an imperative.
Consequently the role of technology and digital transformation to government effectiveness, the state’s overall prosperity and future jobs has never been more important.
Please join several hundred fellow leaders and executives from business, government, community and academia as we focus on Shaping the Future of South Australia through innovation.
Incorporating the iAwards
The iAwards is Australia’s leading ICT innovation awards program, an initiative of the Australian Computing Society (ACS), the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and the Pearcey Foundation. Championing new technology that has the power to positively impact society, the iAwards is driving ICT innovation forward by celebrating the pioneers of today and creative thinkers of tomorrow.
The SA State iAwards will officially kick off the iAwards 20th anniversary; as we honour and celebrate two decades of outstanding companies, individuals and innovations, through Australia’s leading ICT industry awards program. 2014 is a fantastic year to be involved, with nominations having increased by 40% compared with 2013—and the best of these will be awarded at this prestigious event.
