Sam Gillespie is currently the Director of Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) IT Strategic Sourcing and Digital at the Department of Government Services for Victorian Government

Sam is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in the information, communication, and technology (ICT) industry. Sam has held senior roles in New Zealand, London, and Melbourne.

Sam has been the Director of the WoVG IT Strategic Sourcing and Digital team for over 2 years. He has 10 years of experience in government, having worked in various roles across Department of Premier and Cabinet, Cenitex and Victoria Police before joining the Department of Government Services team.

Director of Procurement Policy and Analytics

Aimee Esselmont is the Director of Procurement Policy and Analytics at the Victorian Department of Government Services.

In this role, Aimee supports the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) to develop, implement and review supply policies and practices, and is leading projects to implement procurement technology and data to support informed, data-driven decisions, reduce complexity for buyers and suppliers through standardisation of procurement processes and administration, and uplift procurement capability.

With experience across government, consulting, and operational delivery, Aimee has led teams to deliver technology solutions to enhance operational performance.
