Over the past few months, the SA AIIA Council has been engaging with the South Australian Government with regards to current DCSS contract expiring in June 2020. The contract covers Server Management requirements of all State Agencies.
The Government have commenced their planning for a replacement contract and have released an RFI, to seek the market information, specifically:
- The way the market currently provide services to manage servers
- The way server management might change over the next 5 years
- The way the market would see the services being grouped
The new contract, called MDAS has a view to cover on-premise server management, virtual/remote server management as well as Cloud services Management and will be mandatory for all Government Departments/Agencies.
The SA AIIA Council will be collating information and providing an information pack to the SA Government over the coming weeks including specific and aggregated anonymous information gathered from industry.
This will include taking notes during the Government industry briefing.
After the RFI is completed in July, we will release the information pack to AIIA members and the SA Government.
Please register your interest by emailing Nicole Campbell to provide information, ask questions and/or receive the info pack.
Thank you,
SA AIIA Council
