The AIIA is focussed on maintaining an awareness around industry trends and key insights. One approach has been to survey the industry, seeking responses from both members and nonmembers, on a nationwide basis. We first surveyed respondents in February 2020, in an economic climate still operating in a pre-COVID setting. In March 2021, a follow-up survey was conducted, and the results are presented in this paper. Results reflect both the historical impact of the pandemic, as well as the transition throughout Australia towards recovery, both economic and social. Both surveys were nationwide, and both covered the full scope and breadth of the Australian technology sector.
