In an ongoing commitment of eHealth NSW and NSW Health, Dr. Bolevich has once again agreed to deliver his annual update to the AIIA and ICT community. Each year, this update has been a must-attend event in the AIIA calendar as Dr. Bolevich directly provides insights into the strategy, priorities, and directions of the departments. We are pleased to be able to meet in person in Sydney at the KPMG Office for this important event. There will also be an opportunity for questions to be posed during the session.

Dr. Zoran Bolevich

Chief Executive – eHealth NSW

Chief Information Officer – NSW Health

Dr. Zoran Bolevich is the Chief Executive of eHealth NSW and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for NSW Health.

He represents NSW Health on the Board of the Australian Digital Health Agency and the NSW Government’s ICT Leadership Group and is a board member of the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.

Zoran is well-recognised in the healthcare sector and ICT industry for driving innovation and influencing rapid change across NSW Health. In 2019 he was ranked fifth by the CIO Australia CIO50 as one of Australia’s top 50 technology and digital chiefs.

Previous roles include the NSW Ministry of Health’s Director of Demand and Performance Evaluation, and Executive Director, Health System Information and Performance Reporting. Zoran also oversaw the national health information strategy and architecture for New Zealand’s Ministry of Health.

As well as a Doctor of Medicine, Zoran holds a Master of Business Administration and is Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and Executive Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).

Jonathan leads KPMG’s Digital Health practice with a focus on achieving better outcomes for the wellbeing of Australians. In this capacity, he works closely with clients and KPMG alliances to develop platform-based tools to address challenges that health, ageing and human services organizations have in delivering high quality and safe care.

Globally, Jonathan leads KPMG’s Electronic Health Record team and our Powered Enterprise for Healthcare offering which focusses on back-office transformation. Jonathan collaborates with the KPMG global network to create solutions that support rapid business modernisation in healthcare organisations aimed at driving better functional performance, supporting new ways of working, ensuring processes are future-ready and better controlling risk and regulation.

Jonathan has a global health focused background and has served some of the world’s largest organisations in advisory, transformational program management and technology capacities. He has over 20 years’ experience in program, project, and risk management and information technology and has worked for KPMG in Sydney, London, and New York.
