Each year, this update has been a must-attend event in the AIIA calendar as Dr. Bolevich directly provides insights into the strategy, priorities and directions of the departments. We are pleased to be able to meet in person in Sydney at the KPMG Office and also online for those that can’t make it to this important event. There will also be an opportunity for questions to be posed during the session.

Dr Zoran Bolevich
Chief Executive of eHealth NSW
Chief Information Officer of NSW Health

Dr Zoran Bolevich is the Chief Executive of eHealth NSW and Chief Information Officer for NSW Health. With a background in medicine and business administration, Dr Bolevich has worked in several senior health system management, health IT and data analytics leadership roles in Australia and New Zealand.

Leading a team of more than 1,250 staff, Dr Bolevich is focusing on implementing the eHealth Strategy for NSW Health, streamlining governance of eHealth NSW’s key programs and activities, and developing a highly effective, customer-focused Health IT organisation. Dr Bolevich is passionate about improving the health system through meaningful and effective use of digital technologies, data analytics, research and innovation in partnership with patients, clinicians, health organisations, government and industry partners.

Dr Bolevich holds a medical degree, a Master’s of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

Jonathan Di Michiel
Partner at KPMG

Jonathan leads KPMG’s Digital Health practice with a focus on achieving better outcomes for the wellbeing of Australians. In this capacity, he works closely with clients and KPMG alliances to develop platform-based tools to address challenges that health, ageing and human services organizations have in delivering high quality and safe care.

Globally, Jonathan leads KPMG’s Electronic Health Record team and our Powered Enterprise for Healthcare offering which focusses on back-office transformation. Jonathan collaborates with the KPMG global network to create solutions that support rapid business modernisation in healthcare organisations aimed at driving better functional performance, supporting new ways of working, ensuring processes are future-ready and better controlling risk and regulation.

Jonathan has a global health focused background and has served some of the world’s largest organisations in advisory, transformational program management and technology capacities. He has over 20 years’ experience in program, project, and risk management and information technology and has worked for KPMG in Sydney, London and New York.

Cameron Cumming
MC

Cameron is extremely passionate about technology and is a keen advocate for improving the state of healthcare in Australia. He is the National Chair of Healthcare Policy and Advocacy Network (PAN) at the Australian Information Industry Association.

Cameron is passionate about customer success and protecting our most valued asset, data. In such a volatile environment where there is a marked increase in cyber crime, Cameron has been working with security and technology leaders within organisations to identify gaps and vulnerabilities, mitigate threats and improve their overall security posture to enable their business to thrive during these unprecedented times.
