Startup Masterclass: Succeeding in the Japan market

Japanese companies and venture capital are proactively scouring the globe for promising startups to invest in and partner with, which presents opportunities for Australian startups. Learn from the practitioners who help realise these commercial partnerships, the lessons learned and how to navigate to successful outcomes.

Japan is the world’s third-largest economy. Its GDP is projected to grow at the fastest pace in 12 years (source: International Monetary Fund).  The Japanese government is scaling up generous funding to supercharge its world-class innovation ecosystem, high-quality infrastructure, and top-notch R&D.  Together with Japan’s free-market economy and cutting-edge technologies, it is a great destination for Australian tech companies to push for innovation and revenue growth.

Corporate Japan is aggressively scouting for startups globally that can fill technology gaps and spur growth. But connecting to Japanese companies has its challenges and hurdles to overcome. Come and join our Global Tech masterclass for Aussie tech companies to learn how other Australian startups have made that connection work successfully.

From this event you will:

  • Understand the challenges and opportunities in digital trade
  • Gain pro-tips to formulate your export strategy for the Japanese market
  • Empower you with insights to scale your business, form commercial partnerships, and reap successful outcomes
