The Singapore-Australia Digital Economy Agreement (SADEA) is signed almost two years. The SADEA enhances existing digital trade arrangements between Singapore and Australia under the Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement. It also includes seven Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to operationalise some of the modules in the DEA by identifying or mapping collaboration projects, specifically in the areas of AI, Data Innovation, Digital Identities, Personal Information Protection, E-invoicing, Trade Facilitation and E-certification on Agricultural Commodities.

Stephen Skulley

Senior Trade & Investment Commissioner Singapore Austrade  

As a Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner with Austrade Singapore, Stephen focuses to deliver productive direct foreign investment into Australia and support Australian exporters access international markets.

Stephen has worked in the global banking sector for over 20 years in Europe, Asia and Australia with Lloyds Bank and Citigroup and has led financial services businesses across all ‘life-cycle’ stages. In the last five years, he was the Lloyds Bank CEO, Country Manager and Regional Corporate Banking Head.

Stephen completed a Bachelor and Master of Engineering, an MBA from IMD, is an AICD graduate, and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and the Singapore Fintech Association.

Lim Jun Sheng

Regional Director, Asia Pacific | Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) 

Mr Lim Jun Sheng is the Regional Director for the Singapore Economic Development Board’s (EDB) operations in Australia & New Zealand, the Middle East, and Taiwan.

The EDB is the lead government agency responsible for driving Singapore’s economic growth through industry development and investment promotion. In his current role, Jun Sheng is responsible for the strategic engagements and investment promotion efforts in the Oceania, Middle East, and Taiwan regions. He is based in Taiwan and engages companies across a wide range of sectors such as Engineering, Energy & Chemicals, Built Environment, Semiconductors, and Digital Technologies.

Jun Sheng joined EDB in 2015 and was a Manager in the Semiconductors Account Group between 2015 and 2019. He helmed various portfolios ranging from semiconductor chip design to frontend and backend manufacturing where he worked with North Asian and American MNCs to tap on Singapore as a hub for growth. Prior to that, Jun Sheng lived in the United Kingdom between 2012 and 2015 where he graduated from the University of Warwick with a first-class honours degree in Law and Business Studies

Eric Lim

Senior Manager, Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA)

Eric Lim is a Senior Manager from IMDA Open Innovation Platform (OIP). The OIP is a virtual crowdsourcing platform that matches real-world business challenges with innovative tech solutions. Eric helps the problem owners and problem solvers to develop innovative solutions together and foster collaborations.

He also helps the problem solvers to develop commercialisation pathways to commercialise successful prototypes. Since the start of OIP till now, Eric has seen through over 300 challenges from various industries and over 100 prototypes being developed.

Mike Stephens

VP, International Business Asia | Senetas Corporation Limited (Senetas) 

Mike Stephens is a technology industry veteran who has strong experience providing value solutions for clients across Asia over the last 25 years.

Mike is Singapore based and has worked with clients across the region and has been located in Shanghai, Mumbai, Jakarta, Hong Kong and Korea.
His company background is in areas of Sales, Services, Security, Technology, Channel management and Delivery for ANZ Bank, Tandem Computers, Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard, Oracle and a number of Cloud Service Providers.

Mike brings to clients “hands on” exposure to the evolving IT needs of deploying and operating business applications, cyber security protection of networks and data, migration and managing Cloud and On-Premise environments.
