Federal Budget briefing: $392m Industry Growth Program and critical tech funding

In the recent Federal Budget, the Albanese Government allocated $392 million to establish an Industry Growth Program to support SMEs and start-ups to commercialise their ideas and grow operations in NRF policy priority areas including quantum and AI technologies. The budget also provided $101.2 million to support AI and quantum adoption across the economy. These new industry programs provide an opportunity for AIIA members to access these funds to grow critical tech capability.

Officials from the Department of Industry and Science will provide a briefing on what was in the budget from its portfolio, how the funds can be accessed and when, as well as being available to answer questions on the programs.
