Skills Symposium — The Digital Skills Challenges Facing Australia

AIIA Members are invited to join an in-person tech skills symposium and discussion in Melbourne, supported by the Victorian Council and the Digital Skills PAN. We will have some expert presenters and will leverage breakout discussions to seek industry solutions facing the skills shortage in the tech sector:

  • The higher-education and VET ecosystem and the challenges faced in developing skills at the school, university, TAFE and re-skilling at mid-career levels.
  • What does digital skills in jobs mean?
  • Why aren’t people digital skills job ready?
  • How do we make digital skills attractive to learners and potential employees?

This is a fantastic opportunity for members to engage on skills issues facing our sector and help shape AIIA policy positions and priorities.
