Keynote: Brook Dixon, Director, Smart City and Regulatory Reform
Brook’s leadership in implementing the ACT Government’s Digital Canberra Action Plan, CBRfree wifi (the biggest single network in Australia), smart parking in Manuka (real time parking availability and mobile payment), and ACT Taxi reforms contributed to his being awarded a 2015 Churchill Fellowship, to study the drivers of digital transformation in leading global cities.
In this keynote Brook will discuss learnings achieved in his visits to cities in Asia, Europe and the Americas in 2016.
Further implementation of the Smart City and regulatory reform programs promises to provide great opportunities for those engaged in the technology and digital sectors in Canberra and the region.
