Guest Speaker

Tony Henshaw -Simplifying doing business with Government

The Australian Government is one of the most significant ICT customers in the Southern Hemisphere but many SME’s shy away or limit their activities in the sector because they think it is just too hard.

Tony Henshaw will lead a conversation that will help both SME’s and Multinationals understand how to make the best of the opportunities this market provides.

Tony is well known to many in the sector. He has managed the sales and service delivery operations for both SME’s and multi-national companies, including Telstra and Unisys. He has substantial experience dealing with the needs of government as a supplier and as the manager of significant projects. He has also been active in the development of Australian software companies as an adviser to CSIRO, a Board Member at NICTA Ltd and a mentor to start-up companies.

Tony can certainly provide a 3D view into this complex but valuable market.

Our breakfast will also provide the opportunity for a number of members to deliver their ” Five Minutes of Fame” and the fabulous speed networking session.

Please join us for this important yet fun event. and explore new ways of doing business.

About the CollabIT Breakfast

Undoubtedly business is becoming more digitised daily but it is often who you know and what you find out personally that can be a key difference in being successful.

There are three reasons why you should attend a CollabIT breakfast:

  • Meet new contacts: participate in Speed Networking, which is fast paced, energetic and fun; you have two minutes to swap business cards and make new business contacts.
  • Showcase your business: the Five Minutes of Fame provides local businesses with the opportunity to showcase who they are and what they do all within a five minute time limit. Three new companies are featured at each breakfast.

Increase your knowledge: in addition to the Speed Networking and the Five Minutes of Fame an industry guest speaker is invited to discuss relevant industry issues and explore new ways of doing business.
