Collaborative innovation ecosystems – opportunities for enhanced collaboration between government, industry, academia, and NGOs.

Chris Fechner will discuss the opportunities for enhanced collaboration between government, industry, academia, and NGOs. This insightful overview will shed light on how these sectors can unite to drive innovation and address the pressing challenges of our time.

Chris will articulate the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) strategic role in cultivating and supporting these ecosystems, emphasising the importance of shared goals and collective action. The speech will explore the DTA’s initiatives that encourage open technology and service-level government data decentralisation, fostering a culture of transparency and flexibility.

The address will conclude with a forward-looking vision, outlining the DTA’s commitment to transforming digital service procurement and usage. By creating a competitive and fair environment, the DTA aims to streamline access to the best digital solutions, ensuring that government agencies are equipped to serve the Australian people and businesses effectively.
