Megan James is a leader, consultant, advisor and mentor in the ICT industry.

Megan was previously the CEO of Australian Data Centres (ADC), the only privately wholly Australian Data Centre in the country, and had been with the organisation since its inception as a start-up.

Prior to ADC Megan was one of the founding staff at Global Switch in Sydney (2001) when the awareness of data centres was starting to evolve.

She has been in the IT Industry for over 25 years with roles in storage, hardware software and a dot.com start up.

She is passionate about Australian SME’s, start-ups and supporting organisations as they evolve to the cloud and digital transformation.

Megan is the Vice President for Women in IT and Communications (WIC) based in Canberra which is a growing not for profit supporting students, and women in STEM and IT.

She also sits on the Board of Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and is an activate advocate and public speaker in this space.

Megan is very active in the local community and also spends her spare time by the pool as a Bronze Certified Swim Coach, and mentoring young women and graduates.
