I am an entrepreneurial business leader who endeavours to create lasting economic value for our communities.

I currently serve as the Executive Director of Australia’s Economic Accelerator (AEA) within the Australian Department of Education and am a pivotal figure in enhancing Australia’s innovation landscape and economic development through commercialisation of university Intellectual Property. The AEA is a ten year, AUD1.6B grant program to assist Australian higher education institutions commercialise their IP with industry (www.aea.gov.au).

My extensive commercial background includes senior executive roles in SME, and large Australian and international companies. More recently, I engaged in leadership roles for commercialisation and investment at the University of South Australia and UniSA Ventures, respectively. My journey reflects a dedication to fostering innovation across multiple industry sectors, guiding researchers, and entrepreneurs alike, through the intricacies of translating research, through innovation, into economic and societal benefits.
