Details

With the recently returned NSW Baird Government, the Budget is powerfully positioned, Net debt is down, expenses are under control and the triple-A credit rating is maintained.

The 2015/16 Budget will critically impact the NSW Government ICT market. Achieving aims to be ‘a leader in the use of ICT’ to ‘deliver better, more customer-focused services’ will require innovation on both technological and financial levels in the coming year.

The opportunities of the ICT Industry are vast however, understanding the financial aspects and forward planning will be key. Both suppliers and agency representatives alike need to understanding the full detail of the Budget. With an ongoing focus in New South Wales on transitioning to ‘as a service’ solutions and multi-agency arrangements, this briefing will be a value-packed event and will foster future cooperation and effective engagement between ICT suppliers and the New South Wales Government.

Government CFOs will respond to a facilitated Q&A Panel Session providing key insights to the budget priorities and Business and ICT procurement plans ahead. Key discussion points will include:

Identifying the models available as Departments continue the ICT transition from Cap-ex to Op-ex
Provide insight into the challenges Departments are facing with Digital Transformation and their financial impacts
Outline the key content, implications and opportunities relevant to the ICT market in the 2015/16 NSW Budget
Discuss the requirements for outcome based procurement and the importance of focusing on outcomes, not technology.
Reinforce the importance of collaborative relationship with Departments and the ICT industry across SME, Mid-market and Multinational organisations.
Intermedium will provide market analysis and insight appropriate for both industry and agency representatives.

Join us for this important opportunity to understand how the new Budget will impact your organisation.
