The AIIA Victoria Council invites you to attend the July 2018 Victorian Ministerial Policy Platform event, to be held on Thursday 19 July, 2018.

The Victorian Ministerial Policy Platform series has been designed to facilitate debate and discussion of key issues of relevance to the ICT industry, government, and broader business in the lead up to the 2018 Victorian State election.

This event will feature The Hon. David Davis MLC, Shadow Minister for Public Transport, Planning and Equality, who will describe key portfolio policies and priorities for the next three years, with the key aim of this event being to initiate technology conversations within our industry regarding how to support the delivery of these priorities.

Places for this event are strictly limited to 50 seats and are available on a ‘first in’ basis.

Guest Speakers

The Hon. David Davis MLC
Shadow Minister for Public Transport, Planning and Equality

David Davis MLC was first elected to the Victorian Parliament as the Member for East Yarra Province in 1996 and re-elected in 2002. In 2006, David was elected a member of the new Southern Metropolitan Region and was re-elected in 2010 and 2014.

David’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Arts (Applied Philosophy). From December 2002 until December 2005, David was Shadow Minister for Health.

He has also held Shadow Ministerial responsibility for Planning, Manufacturing & Exports, Small Business, Industry & State Development, Major Projects and Environment &Climate Change. He was also the Shadow Minister for Health and Ageing and Shadow Minister responsible for Scrutiny of Government. From 2010-2014 David served as Minister for Health and Minister for Ageing.
