In conjunction with the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), KPMG is pleased to invite you to join us for a key update on the R&D Tax Incentive specifically tailored for businesses that claim software development activities, followed by networking.
Topics will include:
1.An innovation and R&D tax policy update – including the recent Innovation Report; the status of the 3F recommendations; and interaction with policy makers, Senator Cash, and Treasury;
2.The latest information and insights about claiming software R&D activities – regulators have focussed attention on software development claims recently, with new guidance, tax alerts and lots of regulatory audits/reviews. Learn about the issues, myths, risks and processes to be aware of when compiling an R&D claim related to software development activities.
3.Compliance and planning – how to apply the guidance in practice; and
4.ATO activity – what you need to be aware of.
We encourage you to attend with any questions and discussion points as this will be an interactive seminar.
