The AIIA WA council invites you to toast 2014 with a New Year Sundowner on Thursday, 30 January. Mr Jim Wyatt, outgoing General Manager, Digital Economy Branch, Department of Commerce will speak on “WA’s Digital Future is in Capable Hands”.
Jim will speak about the emerging intent in Government to look at digital to transform services delivery, look at the ubiquitous adoption of the major technology trends by the economy to meet the challenges of efficiency and productivity (Mining, Agriculture, Transport and Government) and share some of his thoughts about opportunities for the next 12 to 18 months including the future of the NBN, regional mobile coverage and the role ICT will play in consolidation across Government (State and Local).
