Legal and Governance PAN
The Legal and Governance PAN is a forum for legal professionals focused on developing a fit-for-purpose regulatory framework for Australia’s ICT sector, including emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital identity, and data governance. The network promotes sound corporate and technology governance, while ensuring compliance requirements are not unnecessarily burdensome or restrictive. It provides a platform for thought leadership, the exchange of best practices, and collaboration across industry and government. Members engage in robust discussions on legal and regulatory issues shaping the digital economy, and work to better understand the challenges faced by the Australian Government in enabling innovation and responsible growth.
