Victoria’s 2017 AIIA Navigating Digital Government Summit will bring together political, business and technology leaders to discuss the complex issues of how technology is transforming the customer experience and what this means for the way Government does business and interacts with customers in the future.

As citizen expectations of service delivery mature and increase, governments at all levels are being asked to match the level of service provided to customers online and from the private sector.

This year for the first time, the AIIA has extended its flagship ‘Navigating Summit’ event – which was held earlier this month in Canberra – into a roadshow series, designed to provide AIIA members and the wider AIIA community around the country with the opportunity to join in the conversation about this year’s summit theme.

As such, the Victorian Navigating Digital Government roadshow event will bring together a wide range of political, business and technology leaders specifically to discuss the many and complex issues regarding how technology is transforming the customer experience – and what this will mean for the ways in which the Victorian Government and its agencies conduct business and interact with customers.

This event will include lots of networking opportunities and the chance to explore some of the innovative uses of digital technologies in the public sector – presented in our Digital Government Showcase.

Speakers

  • Special Minister of State, Gavin Jennings MLC – who will formally open the event and start the dialogue about government digitisation
  • Scott Ayer, Director of Service Delivery, CenITex
  • Carolyn De Gois, Deputy Secretary, Corporate Services at Department of Health & Human Services, Victoria
  • Speakers from VicRoads and Service Victoria

Many thanks to our sponsor, Qlik and NDIA
