The Australian Government has opened its $476 million Industry Skills Fund to assist small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) to invest in training and support services to help build a highly skilled workforce that can take advantage of new business growth opportunities and adapt to rapid technological change.

Help for businesses is available. Daniela Mattheys will provide insight into what kind of assistance you can access under the fund:

• Skills advice – help to identify skills requirements to maximise business growth; and
• Training Grant – co-investment for businesses to improve the skills of their workforce for an identified growth opportunity.

Deidre Willmott will talk about CCI’s increasing focus and interest in the ICT sector and how this sector can deliver greater efficiencies for business and government here in Western Australia.
