The Federal & ACT Council of the AIIA is delighted to have Ms Marie Johnson, First Assistant Secretary, Client Strategy and Performance Division in the Department of Immigration & Citizenship, address the June Canberra Manager’s Forum Luncheon.
Marie was named “Innovative CIO of the year 2006-07 – Australia”, by the Australian Financial Review MIS Magazine and in 2009 along with her team at DHS received the “Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Sector Management”.
At the June Canberra Managers Forum Marie will be presenting Data and Digital – Government Service Delivery Transformation in a Global Environment.
She will talk about what going digital involves for DIAC – knowing their clients, understanding client service experiences, empathising with their clients, designing digital services and delivering a work program.
Along with Marie as our guest speaker, we will be announcing the ACT finalists in the 2013 annual iAwards. Please join us in celebrating the achievements of these local innovators and wish them well in their journey through to the national finals in August.
