AIIA NSW Health Briefing: NSW LHD update
Details
Welcome back to the AIIA NSW Health briefings. To kick off 2018 we have invited three prominent Local Health District Executives to give our members an update on what is key to their district for the year ahead.
As we all know, there were some major implementations during 2017, including Medications Management and EMR2 at some of the largest hospitals in NSW: RPA, Liverpool, and Westmead included.
Our speakers will bring us up to date with how they coped with these major projects whilst continuing to deliver quality care to patients.
They will also explore the changing face of ICT in healthcare, as it moves from being historically a back-office function towards delivering front-line support 24×7. This change raises major funding and staffing sustainability challenges that all LHDs are currently confronting.
The presenters will join our equally prominent MC, Dr Tim Smyth for a Q&A panel where you will be able to ask your questions not covered in the presentations or questions you have been wanting to ask but haven’t yet had the opportunity.
