Richard Welch is the Shadow Minister for Industry, Manufacturing, Innovation, AI and the Digital Economy.

Richard leads the Coalition’s policy development across industry growth, advanced manufacturing, innovation and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on ensuring Victoria remains globally competitive and attracts investment, talent and high-value jobs.

He has been actively engaging with industry to better understand the opportunities and challenges facing Victoria’s technology sector and will outline the Coalition’s priorities ahead of the election.
