Additional hearings and invitation to provide supplementary submission on Assistance and Access Bill 2018
The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security will hold two additional hearings for its review of the Telecommunications and Other Legislation Amendment (Assistance and Access) Bill 2018. The hearings are as follows:
- Friday 16 November: Venue: Sydney CBD
- Friday 30 November: Venue: Parliament House, Canberra
Further details about these hearings will be made available on the Committee’s website closer to the date. The transcript from the first hearings held on 19 October, is now available at this link. All publicsubmissions are also available from the website.
Should you wish to provide any further comments on the Bill, or the evidence the Committee has received to date, it would be most appreciated if supplementary submissions could be received by Monday, 26 November.
