Policy Advisory Networks (PANs) are AIIA’s member-led collaboration forums, bringing together expertise from across the technology sector to shape practical, evidence-based policy. Through specialist advice, recommendations and insights, PANs strengthen AIIA’s advocacy and policy positions and support high-impact engagement with government, industry and the broader community. In doing so, PANs ensure industry expertise directly informs decisions on technology, innovation and Australia’s digital capability.
Each PAN exists to:
- Shape policy priorities: identify reforms, build evidence, and provide member-led recommendations.
- Strengthen advocacy: support credible, practical engagement with government and stakeholders.
- Mobilise member collaboration: convene members to share insights, address cross-sector issues, and develop collective input (events, roundtables, working groups).
- Build the evidence base: contribute data, de-identified case studies, and technical expertise to strengthen submissions and briefings.
- Deliver impact with discipline: maintain an active work program and track engagement and outputs, with Policy Team oversight where needed.
