Chief Customer Experience Officer for eHealth Queensland, Department of Health

Michael Berndt firmly believes that a holistic approach is vital for genuine customer-centric transformation to occur and confidently draws upon his stakeholder management expertise to gain ‘boardroom to basement buy-in’ for customer experience (CX) initiatives.

With extensive experience across a broad range of industries including finance, aviation, telecommunications and essential service utilities, Michael has built a reputation for his tenacity and thought leadership when driving organisations customer centric agendas. His passion is unearthing ‘what makes customers tick’ and the market value that can be extracted by aligning people, systems and processes to better meet their needs.

As Chief Customer Experience Officer for eHealth Queensland, Michael is accountable for customer service excellence, ensuring customer-led design principles are utilised to create digital products and solutions, embedding the customer at the heart of the business.

eHealth Queensland (eHQ) is one of the largest ICT organisations in Australia and is responsible for the smooth operation of digital health solutions and technologies across the state.
