The AIIA Victoria Council is pleased to present the March 2018 event in Government Executive Forum series. This event will offer AIIA members unprecedented opportunities to build networks with senior members of the Victorian Government.
With a limited number of spaces per event, the AIIA Government Executive Forum Series is designed to provide AIIA members with the unique chance to meet with and hear from senior government executives about their charters and challenges.
We are pleased to announce that the March forum will feature a presentation by Claire Foo, CIO, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) who will discuss ‘Digital Transformation at DELWP – how to transform a government department in today’s rapidly changing world’
Places for this event are strictly limited to 20 seats and are available on a ‘first in’ basis.

Claire Foo
CIO, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP)
Claire is responsible for leadership of the Information Services Division within the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
The division sets the strategy and vision for department’s enterprise ICT services including information management with a focus on productivity and digital transformation. To drive the latter, Claire is currently co-leading DELWP’s Digital First Program with the Executive Director of Communications.
Claire has been in her current role since July 2013. She is a member of the Victorian Government CIO Council, setting strategic direction for ICT across the Victorian government.
Prior to her current role, Claire was Director, IMT Delivery for the Department of Sustainability and Environment for two years. Claire has held a variety of roles across the private and public sector including roles in finance, internal audit, business management, human resources and operations.
In July 2016 Claire was awarded the AIIA VIC #TechDiversity award for the government category, recognising her work in achieving greater representation of women in ICT in DELWP and the Victorian Public Service.
