Update on ServiceNSW

Damon currently leads Service NSW, bringing a wealth of business and IT knowledge, along with leadership experience.

Damon is focused on ensuring Service NSW operates as a one-stop shop for government services, and providing easy access to these services to citizens and businesses alike. He is committed to setting a global standard in customer service excellence for Service NSW.

Damon was previously the NSW Government’s first Chief Information & Digital Officer (GCIDO) and Deputy Secretary of ICT & Digital Government within the Department of Finance, Services & Innovation. In his previous role as the GCIDO, Damon advocated for digital adoption across the NSW public sector, defined the long-term vision for ICT and digital technologies, implemented the NSW Open Data Policy and improved integration across government agencies.

 Prior to this, Damon was the Chief Digital Officer at Macquarie Bank, having earlier served as the Chief Technology Officer and interim Chief Information Officer at Woolworths, and as Westpac’s Head of Integrated Delivery.

Damon also currently serves as a Non-Executive Director with GP Synergy, a federally-funded general practice education and training provider.
