Details

The NSW Government is delivering on the Turning Ideas into Jobs: Accelerating R&D in NSW Action Plan, launched in January 2021, to accelerate R&D translation and commercialisation and invest in future industries.

The 20-year R&D Roadmap is a key part of the Action Plan. It’s the first time such a roadmap has been developed in NSW and will frame R&D investment attraction as well as the NSW Government’s investment and activities.

$2 million is also being invested in an online R&D Matchmaking Platform to better connect research ‘sellers’ and ‘buyers’ and link them to the innovation infrastructure and expertise they need.

Gabrielle Upton, MP & Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, with Professor Hugh Durrent Whyte – NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer will discuss the project in more detail.

You can have your say on the 20-year R&D Roadmap Survey and the online R&D Matchmaking Survey which are open until 10 December 2021.
