Ms Catherine D’Elia is the Deputy Secretary, Government Shared Services, in the NSW’s Department of Customer Service (DCS). Ms D’Elia has a strong background in strategic leadership, large scale change management, executive level collaboration and complex problem resolution. Ms D’Elia transitioned to the Department of Customer Service following 16 years at the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) where she was most recently the Deputy Secretary for Corporate Services. At DCJ Ms D’Elia was responsible for delivering an ERP solution and harmonizing Shared Services operations across 60 NSW Government agencies (consisting of 60,000 employees.) Ms D’Elia moved to DCS to stand up Government Shared Services to create a strategic roadmap that continues the consolidation and harmonisation of Shared Services Operations on a single ERP platform for more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.
