AIIA is pleased to have Councillor Paul Pisasale, Mayor of the City of Ipswich as the guest speaker for the upcoming August luncheon.
Paul will talk about Ipswich’s journey and explain how the city evolved from mining and heavy manufacturing to an economy based on aerospace, education and technology. The city is now experiencing massive growth and Paul will discuss his plans to accommodate the population and create new jobs in the Springfield and Ripley Valley master planned communities. Ipswich is also undergoing the NBN optic fibre rollout which is presenting many opportunities in the Mayors vision for the city and the role the ICT sector will play over the next 20 years.
