During the week of 28 April – 3 May 2014, Australia will be host to a workshop of global leaders that seeks to bring considerable progress to “online service from anywhere and any at scale – small and large” by further developing standards that make this possible in a world where interoperability between businesses, governments and suppliers at national and international levels is becoming an expectation whilst maintaining security, privacy and service levels in a sustainable way.

These leaders from the JTC1/SC 38 forum will join us for dinner on Wednesday 30th April and *guest speakers will include:

  • Dr. Donald Deutsch, Vice President,  Standards Strategy and Architecture, Oracle and Global Chair of JTC 1 Web Services Study Group
  • Dr. John Zic, Principal Research Scientist, CSIRO and Australian Chair of JTC 1 SC 38)

*Other speakers to be confirmed

The dinner will provide an opportunity for those that shape the global framework for cloud computing standards to hear the business needs of Australian organisations and how they are applying flexible online service delivery models within their organisations. Guests will also be provided with extensive high value networking opportunities – including with international guests.
