Marco Fahmi is the Director of Strategy for Data and AI at the Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group.
The primary role of Data Strategy is to guide the strategic approach for government-wide data and information management within Queensland Government. This involves identifying future requirements, spearheading new data initiatives and supporting agencies to adopt best practice.
Data Strategy projects include crafting a Whole-of-Government data strategy, working towards improving data sharing across government, and adopting industry standards for data management and governance.
