The AGM will cover FY 2023/24 and will consist of the following speakers and topics:

  • Update from the AIIA Chair, Angela Fox
  • Update from the AIIA Treasurer, Nicholas Flood
  • Update from the CEO, Simon Bush
  • AIIA STRATEGY UPDATE, Nicole McMahon

As part of the AIIA’s upcoming Annual General Meeting, which will be held via Zoom on Thursday 21 November 2024 at 10:00 am (AEDT), we are pleased to announce that Nicole McMahon, Board Chair of Painaustralia and Non-Executive Director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), will be a guest speaker at this year’s Annual General Meeting.

The AIIA Board and the strategy sub-committee which Nicole chaired, worked with members and developed an updated strategy, mission and purpose and will present this work for the first time to AIIA members. It is important that the AIIA remains engaged and relevant for its members and the broader sector and you will hear about how the AIIA will deliver by its strategic approach and vision.

Nicole will also take questions from members at the end of her speech.

The Annual General Meeting will be your opportunity to engage with the essential governance process that underpin our Association going forward.

Nicole McMahon

Board Chair, Painaustralia

Non-Executive Director, Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA)

Nicole McMahon is a seasoned Executive and Non-Executive Director/Board Chair. She currently serves as the Board Chair of Painaustralia, succeeding Duncan Lewis, OAM. Nicole is also a Non-Executive Director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), where she chairs the strategy sub-committee. She also chairs the Trans-Tasman Business Circle events in Canberra.
