He brings over two decades of experience in information and communications technology (ICT), underpinned by a clinical background in pharmacy. His career spans the public and private healthcare sectors, including four years at Apple, and prior roles in consulting, and the NHS.\nBefore joining eHealth NSW in January 2025, Richard was National Director of Digital Health at Calvary Health Care, leading major digital transformation initiatives. From 2019 to 2023, he was Chief Information Officer at Sydney Local Health District, where he oversaw the NSW Health Vaccination Centre systems and the pioneering RPA Virtual Hospital.\nRichard is passionate about building a digitally enabled health system that supports clinicians and improves outcomes for the people of NSW. She has a well-established reputation for implementing strategies focused on fostering partnerships, supporting the delivery of innovative, patient centred, best practice health care.\nDr Anderson was the Chief Executive of Sydney Local Health District for over 13 years.
