We will kick start the session with an update on the ICT strategy from Marie Johnson which we are certain will facilitate productive dialogue between our distinguished panel and you during the Q&A, as the technology providers that will bring the scheme alive.\nBiographies\nMarie Johnson, Head of Technology Authority, NDIA\nMarie Johnson is the Head of Technology Authority, NDIA. She was the Managing Director and Chief Digital Officer of the Centre for Digital Business. As a Federal government agency CIO and Chief Technology Architect, Marie has led significant transformation programs across the digital machinery of government. Marie led Microsoft’s Public Services and eGovernment initiatives worldwide. Marie was named “Innovative CIO of the Year 2006-2007 – Australia” by the Australian Financial Review MIS Magazine and one of Australia’s 2013 “100 Women of Influence” by the Australian Financial Review & Westpac Group.\nDr David Hansen, CEO, Australian E-Health Research Centre, CSIRO\nDavid Hansen is CEO of the Australian e-Health Research Centre, part of the CSIRO Computational Informatics division. David leads a research portfolio developing information and communication technologies for the healthcare system. Project areas include predictive analytics, health informatics, biomedical imaging, mobile and tele-health and technologies that will underpin the health system in Australia in the next 50 years.\nPrior to joining CSIRO, David worked for LION bioscience Ltd in the UK, developing genomic data and tool integration software that was used to publish the first human genome and is now used at over 200 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and research institutes worldwide.\nNicole Rogerson, National Director, Lizard Centre\nNicole is the National General Manager of Lizard and CEO of Autism Awareness Australia. She left a career in Marketing and Public Relations in 1999 when her son was diagnosed with autism. In 2003 she joined Elizabeth Watson to establish the Lizard Children’s Centre, now Australia’s largest and most respected provider of early intervention programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).\nNicole founded Autism Awareness Australia, a national not-for-profit organisation, in 2007. The organisation combines her passion for providing national education programs that promote understanding of ASD, and supporting and advocating for the needs of individuals on the spectrum and their families.\nShe is a regular public speaker on autism and appears frequently in the media advocating for families with children on the spectrum. She has been featured in Australian Story (ABC TV) and the Australian Women’s Weekly.
