We also hear from Government stakeholders wanting greater ability to engage with Industry.\nThis will be a very special event facilitated by AIIA and the South Australian Government to promote 2-way engagement between Government and Industry and allow each to navigate the changing landscape of portfolio management, major contracts, procurement reform, who does what, where to go for answers, engagement mechanisms and policy updates.\nIf you sell to Government, come along to gain insights into changes in Government portfolios, upcoming opportunities, key contacts and navigation assistance when taking your offerings to the Government market.\nAs a Government buyer you will be offered visibility into the market trends, opportunities to hear about with innovative solutions and engage with the entire industry through a centralised body (AIIA).\nAll attendees will be able to network in small table groups, have their questions answered, meet potential collaboration partners and network across the entire sector to increase your knowledge and contact base.\nThe intent is to allow open discussion and information sharing between buyers and sellers to enable greater transparency, understanding and collaboration, which in turn creates opportunity for productivity gains, innovation and improved outcomes for all stakeholders.\nAIIA and the SA Government have a long-standing relationship and consider each other’s “microphone” regarding industry and public sector engagement.\nWhilst this event is specific to the information industry, content will be aimed towards contract managers, sales and account management teams, national representatives of organisations, and\nanyone with a role in engaging with or on behalf of the Government in South Australia. Your peers in procurement, IT, projects, major contracts, and policy and strategy will be there to meet you from the Government of South Australia.\nHear from Industry and Government Key Note Speakers on ICT Policy and Future Purchasing of the South Australian Government as well as Insights from interstate and international marketplace trends.\nAfter speeches we will wrap up with a panel Q&A discussion, followed by a dedicated session for one on one engagement between Government and Industry, finishing with drinks and canapes for networking opportunities.\n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Details and Speaker Heading Only” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” width=”100%” custom_margin=”-60px||||false|false” locked=”off” collapsed=”on”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ custom_padding=”0px||||false|false” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_divider color=”#c41917″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”40px||||false|false”][/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text admin_label=”Speaker Heading Only” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” header_4_font=”Poppins Semi||||||||” header_4_text_color=”#c41917″ custom_margin=”0px||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”0px||0px||false|false” locked=”off”]\nSpeaker\n[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”2_5,3_5″ admin_label=”Speaker Information” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” custom_padding=”0px||50px||false|false” locked=”off” collapsed=”on”][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https://aiia.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/image0.jpeg” title_text=”image0″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_blurb title=”Tim Chopping” use_icon=”on” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h5″ header_font=”Manrope Bold||||||||” header_text_color=”#000000″ header_line_height=”22px” body_font=”manrope||||||||” body_text_color=”#000000″ body_font_size=”16px” body_line_height=”24px”]\nExecutive ManagerSRA Information Technology &Chair – SA Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA)\nTim has a highly successful career in the technology sector enabling organisations and clients to achieve their goals and outcomes through strategic initiatives and collaboration.\nAlong with his role as Executive Manager at SRA, Tim is the Chair of the SA – Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), Australia’s peak representative body and advocacy group for those in the digital ecosystem and is a judge and mentor for the Local Government Innovation Awards.\nTim has managed high performing teams across operations, sales, marketing, customer success and is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workplace.\n[/et_pb_blurb][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”2_5,3_5″ admin_label=”Speaker Information” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” custom_padding=”0px||50px||false|false” locked=”off” collapsed=”on”][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https://aiia.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/thumbnail_image001.jpg” title_text=”thumbnail_image001″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_blurb title=”Ian Nightingale” use_icon=”on” _builder_version=”4.8.2″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h5″ header_font=”Manrope Bold||||||||” header_text_color=”#000000″ header_line_height=”22px” body_font=”manrope||||||||” body_text_color=”#000000″ body_font_size=”16px” body_line_height=”24px”]\nIndustry AdvocateSouth Australian Government\nIn 2013 South Australia was the first State to establish an Industry Advocate with the role to provide independent advice to the Government on how government expenditure could be used to maximise the economic benefit to the State.\nSince that time there has been overwhelming support from business and industry groups.
